Getting to Know Some New Golf Clubs

Every year, all the golf clubs manufacturing companies will introduce some new types of clubs which may be evolved from previous types and which of them are totally new design. So here is the difficulty that many golfers will feel hard to distinguish one golf clubs from another. But if all golfers around are using the new type, will you still be unmoved of using the previous issue? The time has just got into 2010, and many companies have published their new golf clubs, right now in this article there will be some golf clubs be introduced to you for your judgment of which is better.

Callaway Golf has two new sets of irons coming over this year, the Diablo Edge irons debuting on Jan. 15, 2010, and the Diablo Forged irons, released on Feb. 15, 2010.
The Diablo Forged irons are highlighted on the following page. The Diablo Edge irons are a game-improvement set aimed a mid- and higher-handicappers.

Callaway said that in designing the Diablo Edge irons, it took into account research findings about the location on the clubface where most amateur golfers make contact. And then engineered the Edge irons to have a sweet spot located in that position.
The Diablo Edge irons also feature Callaway’s “Solid Impact Sole,” designed to improve turf interaction and help golfers who catch the ball fat or thin.

The Callaway Diablo Edge irons will have steel shafts. Golfers will have the option of making it a combo set including two Diablo Edge hybrids (graphite shafts) and six irons (steel shafts).

Tour Edge Exotics CB3 Tour Driver

Tour Edge’s Exotics brand includes drivers and fairway woods whose multimaterials are joined using a method known as combo-brazing, a no-weld method of joining materials. No welding, Tour Edge says, means a sounder clubhead that provides improved energy transfer, better feel, and a more pleasing sound.

The Tour Edge Exotics CB3 Tour driver features a one-piece titanium face and crown joined via combo-brazing to a heavy, hyper-steel sole plate. The head is 430cc in volume, slightly smaller than the maxed-out drivers on the market, a design decision aimed at boosting the driver’s workability.

The Exotics CB3 Tour is geared to produce a lower, more penetrating ball flight with its higher center of gravity and Fujikura Motore Tour White low-spin shaft.
And the Exotics CB3 Tour driver comes with a money-back guarantee. From the company’s news

The Fast 10 drivers and fairway woods join Adams Golf’s Speedline series as the third-generation models in Adams’ line dedicated to increasing swing speed through aerodynamic modifications in clubhead design.

Modifications to the clubheads in the Fast 10 drivers and fairways include a more rounded toe and less rounded heel, which airflow testing, Adams Golf says, shows less drag and greater airflow stability through the swing. The results with the new woods, Adams says, is more carry and more distance, along with 10-percent higher MOI compared to previous models.

The Speedline Fast 10 driver and Speedline Fast 10 fairway woods come in standard and draw versions, as well as women’s models. The fairways have 57-percent more sole camber compared to previous models, intended to increase playability from a variety of lies.

The men’s models are available with a mid-high launch Aldila Wasabi shaft or a mid-low launch Matrix HD shaft. The women’s models come standard with a lightweight Graffaloy shaft. The standard men’s driver comes in lofts of 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 12.5 degrees for right-handers, and 9.5 and 10.5 for lefties. The draw model of the driver offers lofts of 9.5 and 10.5 (RH only), and women’s model 12.5 (RH only). The standard fairway woods come in 3+, 3- and 5-woods, RH and LH; the draw version, 3 and 5 (RH only) and the women’s version 3, 5 and 7 (RH only).

Choosing Golf Clubs – Choose The Right Golf Clubs For Yourself From The Wide Selection That Is

Golf is a very popular pastime among many. Well, popular enough that more and more golf clubs are becoming available in the market every year. It is something of an understatement that choosing new clubs can be a challenge. It is easy to be left in awe at the range of golf clubs that you can choose from (a complete golf set comprises 14 clubs including sand wedge and putter). But choosing the right clubs for you is important – not just with regard to costs, but also for the possibility of how much your game will improve with a particular club, and if so by how much. This article will discuss the factors to take into account when you are considering which new golf clubs should purchase.

Many find that the most important aspect to consider with any golf club is its shaft – that is, the metal rod that separates the grip from the head; how long is it, and how dense? These criteria vary from club to club – and playing with the wrong club is likely to prevent you from playing golf at your best (it may be simply a case of it being impossible to find a natural, comfortable posture as you line up a shot using a particular club). You may well be used to playing golf with clubs that have specific values, but that is no reason not to keep your options open.

It is unlikely that anyone would disagree that how you swing the club during a game of golf, is a key factor in how well you play the game. Of course, this is all the more reason to consider the size of your club’s head. A smaller head may allow for greater control, but a larger one will definitely make you more able to hit the ball, for the larger surface area on the side. You may find that the type you choose will have an affect on your swing – people continue to affirm that different materials rather have different weights and feels. Test swinging clubs can help you to ascertain what you are really dealing with.

It is wise to consider the grip of any golf club. The grip on the club should be comfortable, so as to prevent the club from flying out of your hands or any similar mishap. If you are a person whose palms sweat a lot it would probably be worthwhile to make a choice of grip different from that of the person who does not have such sweaty palms. In short, consider your personal factors as they are important.

Probably the most obvious thing to consider is how much new clubs will cost you. If you are a beginner and you are not interested in playing golf on that much of a regular basis, stay clear of anything obscenely expensive; it is not that hard to find clubs that are cheap but still good quality; and it is not true that you need a complete set in order to play a “proper” game of golf. Of course, if you really are seriously investing in ways to improve your game and harbour a sincere ambition to play in tournaments, then you should probably be prepared to spend a larger amount. Start by asking yourself what you really want in conjunction with exactly where you intend to proceed. It’s as simple as that.

Any reputable golf retail store should be able to provide helpful, coherent and worthwhile advice. I recommend experimenting with as many clubs as possible, especially if you are one to be playing the game truly seriously.

New Golf Clubs for Christmas? Essential Care Tips for New Golf Clubs

With Christmas having just passed us by chances are that the golfers among us have had some form of new golf equipment from Santa. New golf clubs, golf bags and other golfing kit are big hits at Christmas with golf players and chances are you’ll be itching to get on the fairways and test out your new toys!

There’s nothing like hitting a good clean shot with a golf club that’s head is free of knocks and dents, the ball will fly straighter and truer than ever before and all golfers will want to keep a hold of that feeling. A part of any golfer’s routine should be maintaining their clubs stay in top condition; many golfers pay little attention, which may adversely affect their overall game. The good golfer will make sure that their clubs, balls and any other vital piece of equipment stays in good condition and takes care not to damage their clubs with knocks or bends.

The most important piece of equipment to buy for your golf clubs is a sturdy, weatherproof golf bag. A lot of amateurs will keep their golf clubs loose in their car boot. Not a good idea as this is likely to see them get bent out of shape. Your golf bag should be weatherproof because when it rains when you are out on the golf course, if rain gets into your golf bag it can damage your club’s grips which can be costly to replace and get refitted.

One tip that a surprising number of golfers are unaware of is cleaning your club face after use. When you take any shot other than a tee shot then there’s a good chance you’ll catch the ground whether it’s on the fairway or in the sand, when you do so your club face can become dirty with the grooves on the face of the club becoming clogged. This may seem unimportant but those grooves are etched for a purpose; helping you strike the ball more cleanly as well as being more forgiving on where you actually hit the ball with your club. All it needs normally is a drop of water or a simple brushing off with a soft brush.

There’s a good chance that your golf clubs or any other new golf equipment cost a lot of money and so it’s wise to take good care to make sure your equipment lasts and serves you well!

If you’re looking to protect your clubs then consider getting golf equipment insurance or if you’re playing golf on holiday or abroad then golf travel insurance may be what you need.
